I applaud PP for having a sense of humour.

If you're reading any of this Mr P, please be aware that the true fans realise that our situation is not down to you and we appreciate what you are doing to try to sort it out.

There will always be idiotic, illiterate chavs who think they know better than the grown ups.

I'm sure you're big enough to pity their lack of intelligance rather than feel insulted by it.

Not that it is my place to apologise for them, but as all decent people know, you do not insult a man in front of his family  :copno:

On behalf of decent Bluenoses, I apologise for the insults aimed at you by people perporting to represent my club. Please understand - they do not represent the feelings of the majority!

No need to be insulting towards other fans because of their opinions pal.

What makes you a true fan over others???

Everyone deserves their own opinion and people on here need to start respecting that.

and as for chav and unintelligent youths etc... i for one am a 26 year old PhD student and have probably got more intelligence in my little finger than you have.

Please have some respect for other peoples opinions! - what Pannu did was unprofessional. We need a Professional to run our club. If he does that on the spare of the moment then what else does he do that will effect the club at the spare of the moment?? Your reactions to 'the spare of the moment' are very important and sometimes really show who you are.

(and how do you know it was his family - another rumour?)

Blimey, the standard of english that our PhD students has certainly gone down hill since my day eh!

"Spare of the moment! :LMAO:

..and for your information "pal", you certainly DO have more brains in your little finger than I do! However, the likelyhood of you ever having more brains where it counts than I do is extremely remote. (BTW - most people - including PhD students, have their brains in their head (though from experience, I can say that they do sometimes migrate to the pants area ;) )

I work with a fair few "Proper" PhD qualified people - some of them are certainly more intelligent than I am. Some of them most certainly are not - and none of them (that I can think of off the top of my head - or on the "spare of the moment" :fishing: ) have a great deal of "common sense". They could all tell you the square root of a tin of baked beans, but I doubt any of them could open the bloomin can!

At my place of work, 90+% of us have at least one degree - not that you need it, but when designing and installing the Radar systems that we use to maintain the the safety of civil and military aircraft whilst transitting British airspace, it can sometimes come in handy to have a detailed knowledge of electronics, though in reality, those without degrees are at least as good as those with them.

I certainly do not intend to get involved in a slanging match with an illiterate "wannabe Doctor", so I will just reitterate my initial comment:

Mr Pannu, the majority of Blues fans do not blame you for the situation we are in - though I will add, as Willie quite rightly pointed out, we do require transparancy about what is happening to the funds that are being generated. We deserve to know where ourmoney is going.
I do not, however, think that we are likely to find out what is / has happened to the money by shouting questions at a man with his family just before a football match.

Sorry pal but i massively disagree with you. He got a bit of abuse but hardly any. All the blues fans rightly sang wheres the money got.

in the situation the club are in and the position at the club he is in it was bang out of order.

after what he did he deserves all the abuse thrown at him.

it shows he doesn't car one hoot about the club. He's alrite jack.

Why does he deserve the abuse thrown at him?

I'm getting tired of the small minded attitude that PP is the man to blame or indeed one that has to play a big part. He does have a proportion of blame but not for the relegation or the financial situation. Does it help matters shouting abuse at representatives of the club, is getting you or the club anywhere? Do those targeting him look like idiots? I'd say yes.

Why are we having such a hard time accepting that we were relegated and to keep the club viable in the long term we need make money as our largest source of revenue has reduced significantly. We can't copy and paste another clubs situation and compare it with our own.

I just don't understand where you think any of this is getting us.

If you shouted abuse at me, waving a few Euros and laughing it off would be the most polite thing that I'd do to you.

:applause:
I cant see how any of this is Pannu's fault
He didnt buy the club with pretend money and he is only doing his job

Not sure if its been mentioned yetbut Pannu walkekd past the blues fans before yesterdays game in Madeira and the blues fans sans at him 'wheres the money gone'.

his reply was to laugh at the fans and he then took a big wedge of notes out of his pocket and waved it at us.

Idiot.

Pardon me but wtf are Blues fans to shout where's the money gone. It was Yeung who bought the club he did is best to give it a go in the premier league and we won the Carling Cup. Due to relegation which was on the cards for 10 clubs the tightest campaign there has ever been we fell short ON GOAL DIFFERENCE.

It has been Yeung who has put in the money under Pannu's stewardship. Fans are quite happy to take the money and sell the chairman down the river if it suits their purposes. It was a competition and Birmingham City were unfortunate to only be the 18th best team in England and Wales.

We have a championship campaign ahead of us and the board have brought in an excellent manager in Hughton. Now why dont you get off the board's back and start supporting the club.

How much money have you put in to the club. Have you mortgaged your house?

:blues:

You have completely missed the point

the hairdresser has not put a been of his own

money into Blues, he has hocked everything

of value we haven't a pot to pee in now.

and it will stay like this whilst they are still here

Pannu and Yeung out now

So, I suppose YOU are going to bail us out BBN?
Will YOU be remorgaging YOUR house, or ask YOUR dad for a loan?

BOARD OUT NOW

That's it, Solidarity, that's the way to show support. This will really help the club.

**thumbup

IF in a small way i can hasten the departure

of these chancers i will keep up my" Pannu and

Yeung out now" crusade :dancer:

Erm yeah, that is quite distasteful considering our current financial situation.

If things were rosy then you could forgive it and say "fair play, sense of humour".

It's also poor form as it's aimed at die-hard away fans who have probably had a very expensive and tricky trip getting to Madeira cake.

Pannu wound me up with his silly comments. The way he harped on about "the £40million" killed me. However I have to agree with many that he is very much the only one us fans have left to get frustrated with. With CY the other side of the world minus his passport, and with other board members hiding, then Pannu is the only one left. If you like him or loathe him he deserves a great deal of credit for standing almost alone. I saw him at the end of the Cov game clapping us fans as we walked out. I still dont like the guy due to his obvious connections with the hairdresser but have to admit hes slowly winning me over. So along with many I say cut the guy some slack here, let him continue to try and carry the fight on, and lets try and ignore some of the silly stuff that will continue to come out of his mouth from time to time. Given the real pressure on him and the flack hes taking then many would have run - well done Pannu. These next few months are going to be rocky. Lets stand together = even with those we are unsure of. Pannu deserves some time. KRO.

I was outside the stadium on Thursday with my wife when Pannu walked past and the thing that I think has been missed was after the initial chant, it was followed up with "w****r,w****r".

I felt so proud :(

Sorry but is this thread some sort of joke

we play our first game in europe for 50 years the team plays very well and the manager as performed miracles with what he's had to work with but the leading thread post on BCFC forum is about somebody having a sense of humour which some fans dont like him having.

:banghead:

:applause:

Can't help but agree mate.

Filled with personal abuse directed at Pannu and Yeung.

Seems that if "some moderators" agree with a sentiment, then no action is taken.
They even jump in with their anecdotes and opinions.

Quote:

16) Personal attacks aimed at club staff or playing staff are unacceptable.

Perhaps that rule should be re-written mates.

16) Personal attacks aimed at club staff or playing staff are unacceptable. Unless some mods are in support of the sentiments expressed and will then ignore the personal attacks.

Support the shirt, its so much easier, especially as most of us dont know the first thing about the running of a club.Well I say most, some obviously think they do.

I,personally, couldnt give a monkeys left testicle who runs it,its all theatre anyroadup

Well what ever reason he did it for, as a reaction, for humour, or just plain ego, it was stupid.

All I saw was PP, a couple of women behind him and then Mike Wiseman walking up towards the tunnel between the away stand and the training pitch, which the home fans use to get to their stand. As Pannu got towards the main crowd, they started chanting, "where's the money gone", then he got out a wade of money and showed it high in the air, and the same fans starting chanting "w****r, w****r" etc, and pointing fingers at him.

I didn't see any thing else after that though, some others on other boards reported he was chased, but I couldn't see if that is what happened as there were others blocking the view, all I saw were fans standing and pointing whilst chanting to be honest.

Carson Yeungs response to where's the money gone would have been -: I need to sell players so that I can use the money to keep Grandtop International in business. Keep paying your entrance fee to the match to stop Grandtop International from going bust as this is why I bought Birmingham City FC.

Baron Von Bluenose!

Who thinks the sky & transfer money has `VANISHED` I have never heard anyone refer to that before!
We arte broke because we went wild paying transfer fees and wages that are not commensurate with our revenue. Simples!

If we dont shed Zig CJ & Scotty Danns wages swiftstyle then the future looks grim.
We lost 20 mill last time we were in this division. This time will be at least the same!

The problem is that there is no transparency about Blues' finances.

We don't know how much CY has borrowed, we don't know how big the debt is and we don't know where the income from transfer fees, parachute payments and season ticket sales has gone (presumably to pay off the debt). We have also saved a substantial amount on wages.

Pannu needs to end the speculation by being honest about how big a financial hole we are in.
